Find out about your mobile application errors before your users do

Wellington, NZ November 27, 2013 – Crash reporting service Raygun.io is changing the face of customer service for mobile application developers with the release of its official Raygun provider for Android. By automatically tracking errors from a user’s device after a crash, the developer is alerted and the bug can be fixed before the user knows anything was broken.
The release of Raygun’s first class Android error tracking support for all Android devices follows the release of support for most popular platforms and languages, including Xamarin to bring .NET devs to the mobile table.
Raygun is a product from dev tools company Mindscape, whose co-founder John-Daniel Trask knows that bugs are a normal part of the development process. He saw the opportunity to build Raygun, which was released in beta at the start of 2013, as potential to change the way we deal with bugs, and therefore our user’s experiences . “Imagine fixing your app’s bugs before your user even knew it was broken. That’s exactly what Raygun gives you the power to do”.
The Android provider is easily installed with a few lines of code, and supports all Android devices which have Gingerbread or newer installed.
The ability to track impacted users is in the not too distant future for Raygun users, and will be a huge step for customer service. Being able to reach out to affected users after fixing an issue enables Android application developers to provide a better service and will result in happier users.
Soon, these features will also be available for iOS developers as the Raygun iOS error tracking provider is currently in beta.
