Raygun provides error, crash and performance monitoring for software teams. We want you to have a clear understanding of how we collect and use information in order to provide services, while at the same time safeguarding your privacy.
Raygun provides tools and services that help software developers make better software. In order to do that, we collect both information that our customers give us directly and information we gather from the way customers use our services.
Raygun collects information from two main groups: our customers, who develop software for end users, and the end users themselves. Our service will automatically collect certain information about end users who access the applications that use our service.
Data transmitted will relate to an error or exception and the environment under which it occurred. Information collected may include IP addresses, or that of any end user of your application. IP address collection can be disabled on a per-plan basis via account settings. Information is only used to aid in the diagnosis of errors and performance issues for you as a Raygun customer.
We collect personal information from you when you voluntarily provide it through online forms, email, support requests or other types of communication with us. This allows us to support you and the business services we provide.
Raygun customers have full control over the data they wish to send to Raygun for processing. You may unintentionally send information from your application to Raygun that includes sensitive data. If you wish to remove specific information from being sent within error and crash reports, we provide the means to do so at a code level in all Raygun providers.
To comply with GDPR legislation we provide functionality that allows Raygun customers to permanently delete Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and known application users that you have chosen to identify in Raygun. View this page for more detailed GDPR information.
We collect information in order to better understand our customers and users, and to provide better services. This includes understanding the operations of our service and user interactions with it, maintaining the quality of the service and analysis of site trends and statistics that help us improve our offer and design new services for the future.
We may use your personal information to deliver additional services, such as direct communications, newsletters, events, training or software that you request or purchase. We may also use any information you have provided as reasonably necessary to provide customer support to you.
We do not sell, rent, or give your personal information to any third party, except as required to do so by law. Raygun discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that need to know that information in order to provide services or operate on Raygun’s behalf, only where those individuals and organizations have agreed not to disclose it to others.

Your information security is important to us. Raygun implements reasonable security measures to protect your information from loss or destruction, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. All communication with the Raygun service uses secure sockets layer technology (SSL).
