Posted Nov 10, 2020 | 3 min. (472 words)Raygun’s Launch Notes are your regular round-up of all the improvements we made to Raygun last month — from significant features to performance updates.
Tech Leaders’ Panel – Prioritizing customer experience
In today’s digital world, leading companies have to redefine what it means to deliver a flawless experience for their customers.
In this exclusive panel discussion, you will learn how software teams at Vend, Xero, Tend Health, and Lancom put the customer experience at the center of their development workflow, closing the feedback loop between code and customer.
APM
Ruby APM is here
We’re excited to announce the next chapter in Ruby application performance monitoring.
Ruby teams now get access to actionable, code-level diagnostics, our unique issue creation engine, precise method-level timings, and a whole lot more. Discover and diagnose performance bottlenecks in a fraction of the time — and for a fraction of the cost.
We want you! APM for Node.js beta testers
We’ve spent the last couple of months working closely with our early adopters to build the best developer-focused APM product for Node.js. We’ve been rolling out plenty of improvements based on early feedback and would love for you to join our next group of beta testers.
Please register your interest and you’ll be added to our exclusive beta group on Slack where you will have direct access to the Raygun product and engineering teams.
Agent update out now
Version 1.0.1230 of the APM Agent has improved Agent memory controls and logging for troubleshooting customer issues. Next time you log in to Raygun, you’ll see the banner at the top to download the update.
Crash Reporting
Spike protection
This feature works to protect you from a sudden influx of errors that are much more than your average in the past 24 hours. When an error spike happens, you’ll be sent periodic notifications so you can act quickly.
Raygun Serilog Sink update
Version 5.0.1 of Raygun Serilog Sink delivers plenty of benefits to improve exception reporting, and logging of richer user information. In this update, fatal exceptions are now sent synchronously so that they can reach Raygun before the app terminates, the Client section identifies which provider the crash reports are coming from, and more.
