Feature Request
Slack Integration - Customizable Event Notifications
shane.tarleton
The Slack integration has been working amazing so far, especially since we have moved to the "One Application Per Tech Stack Per Environment" model (as suggested by Raygun). The one caveat to this success is the lack of control around the types of events that will be sent to Slack, as they occur. We currently have a workflow where we discuss things in greater detail within Slack when the errors occur and then post links back to the Slack thread so that future people viewing a notification of the error (as it might re-occur). Every time that someone comments or takes action (e.g. "Ignore" / "Resolve") on an error, then the same Slack channel where we are receiving the error alerts receives additional "noise" instead of just the error alerts upon which we would normally take action. It would be amazing to turn off the "User comments on an error" or "User has resolved/ignored an error" event types, for our particular use-case.
The feature request is simple: we would like the ability to customize the event types that are sent to Slack.
