We have several applications. Each application has a test, and production 'application'.

A categorisation mechanism would be useful to help find the one you're looking for quickly.

Another thought is a more 'native' way of dealing with 'test' and 'production' data under a single account, although I have no idea how that would work or even if it's a good idea. ;-)

EDIT: canonical feature request here: http://raygun.io/thinktank/suggestion/4064

Hi Murray,

This type of support will be coming. We're going to call it 'environment' support, where an app can send data and specify the environment it's sending from (stage, dev, production etc). You can then either see them all on one dashboard, or filter the app dashboard per environment.

Hoping to have something in the next month or so for this since it does require that we re-think a bunch of parts of the Raygun app (e.g. you might want to only receive notifications from production, so we'll need those pages to be updated so you can specify those types of concerns).

I hope that helps!

I assume we would be able to specify the environment via configuration alone if we wish?

Yes, we'd make it so you could set the name, rather than have a fixed list :-)

I hope that helps,

Hi,
Is there any news regarding this feature?
I'm curious rather than desperate ;-)

It's been quite a while but I still don't see any environment support in ASP.NET clients.

Any ideas when this can be expected to be available?
