Feature Request
Provide Hooks to notify via HTTP Post instead of email
Current Status:
Completed

Emails are great and all but what would be better is the ability to call an http endpoint when the errors happen.
Also the trending emails (still happening after x min and 4.5 per min) would also be nice.
I would say a json format would work.
An http header of the application would be helpful for routing.

I second this request. If the json body could include a URL that would open up that error directly, that'd be great too.
The scenario that I have in mind is hipchat integration - i'd like it to come up as a message in our hipchat logs with a link to click to open up the error on the raygun.io site

We are looking at adding a Web Hook plugin for Raygun similar to our other plugins.
We do natively support HipChat now also - along with a bunch of other services :-)
I'll update this request once we have added the web hook support.
Thanks!

How about Basecamp integration if you're building services?

Yes please. We use graphite and statsd heavily. Being able to POST into https://github.com/Dieterbe/anthracite would be golden.

This would be immensely helpful. We use kato.im for chat and could plug-in raygun easily if we had this. Not to mention making it possible to use Raygun as part of a zap on Zapier.

Hi everyone,
Exciting news - our first web hooks are now live as a plugin option in your Raygun account. At present we have a hook for a notification (similar to what we use internally for integrations with chat products etc). That means initial sightings, re-occurrences, and rolling trends like you see with emails: still occurring after 5 minutes etc.
We've posted a high level announcement on our blog here: http://raygun.io/blog/2014/01/webhooks-finally/
We'll also be posting this week about ways to use the web hooks via blog posts. We'll also be adding more hooks you can subscribe to in future as needed.
If you have any questions, please let me know here.
I hope you enjoy this addition & apologies for the delay on such a popular feature request!

Hi all,
HipChat is now discontinued therefore Raygun no longer supports HipChat.
Cheers,
