Manually mark errors as duplicate as far as the system isn't able to recognize the errors are the same/related.

Either mark errors as duplicate, or some way to group errors the system doesn't recognize as the same error.

Or possibly a better categorization of the item. For instance, I have one page that users try to enter HTML markup and ASP.NET chokes (throws an exception).
HttpRequestValidationException: A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client ...
The exception reports as a different one each time because the text is different. I would love to say all of these are the same or have the tool be smart enough to know that all HttpRequestValidationException exceptions that appear on the same page from the same control are the same exception.

We have the same issue with exceptions coming from Lucene. When a malformed query is detected, the query text is spit out as part of the exception. The entire text of the exception differs from instance to the next by only a very small percentage of characters (the query string) but still won't group.

I've implemented a workaround in some of my error handling code to strip dynamic text out of the messages for some known types of error. Would be awesome if I could either manually group these on the dashboard or even better could specify custom (RegEx based?) grouping rules to address these.
