Feature Request
Drill-down on Error Groups
Current Status:
Completed
MarkLFT
Whilst the error grouping works well in many situations, in others it is too course. For example all NullException errors are automatically grouped, however, the errors are from vastly different places in the code. Currently the only way to find where they are from is to look at the first error and use the Next button. This is not efficient at all.
Could I suggest, for where grouping has taken place, a grid be available that will allow me to see the different instances of this error. In the grid you could show, at a minimum, date / time of error, computer name, form or method called, and code version.
Ideally we would be able to filter further based on Tags or user data.

I, too, would like a grid or table view of the instances of an error. In particular, being able to see user agent across many instances would help isolate browser-specific issues.

Hi all,
We’re excited to announce a new feature for Raygun Crash Reporting for our Business and Enterprise customers called ‘Reports’, which addresses your feature request.
This new feature allows you to create your own custom reports based on the data and criteria that you’d like to see and segment.
You can use Reports to:
- Extract, surface and compare custom data and fields from the error payload
- Analyze errors in more detail by applying primary and secondary filters
- Download reports as CSVs for further data analysis outside of Raygun
- Schedule reports to be generated at a frequency that suits your own reporting needs
You can find out more and see a demo of this feature here: https://raygun.com/blog/2017/02/crash-reporting-reports/
Please give it a go and let us know what you think.
Regards,
Zheng from Raygun
