Raygun Feature Request

Feature Request

Clear all active errors

Current Status:

Completed

Avatar

It would be nice to have a button to clear all active errors for an application, for instance when you've fixed some bugs which occurred a lot and you'd like to start 'clean' again.

Really want this one...sometimes you just don't care about the historical data

Hope to see this feature asap! After a new major release, we need to clear all old issues.

+1 for this feature. Even better would be a feature to have options to:

  • Remove All
  • Remove before date X
  • Remove before app version X

little steps first though.

This is probably the same request, but is there an api hook to mark all errors resolved on deploy?

I am throwing in my support for this. We have over 5000 various errors in the past hour all because of a single server issue we have since resolved. We can only resolve 20 at a time with the current system. Is there a way in the API to resolve all the issues so we don't have to grind through 250 pages of errors?

@John There's a problem with it for legacy users...it sucks to use :/

I have like 3000 errors...so "Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More","Load More""Load More","Load More"

Select all, delete...tells me to wait, can take a minute

30 minutes later and it looks like it only cleared the first few "Load Mores"

Hi all,

We've posted how to use this feature now here: https://raygun.io/blog/2014/09/new-feature-clear-active-bugs-start-fresh/

Thanks for the up votes on this request :-) Note, if you have a lot of data, it can take quite some time to delete it all.

Steve: You'll want to use this rather than check boxes on the homepage.

I hope that helps,

Is there any way we can use this feature to clear all errors that do/don't match a filter?

I asked earlier, but it'd be nice to do this automatically with deploys.

1 - errors that have been resolved will go awawy 2 - errors that are still current will come back 3 - new errors will be obvious (and it be nice to know which commit introduced the error)

And all around good way to tied errors & code to deploys & commits would be great. It'd really help with error resolution.

Hey Jon,

I just shot you an email reply about this :-) You hopefully won't be waiting long for this.

Kind regards,

I to would like this feature.

I accidentally generated 6000 errors very quickly due to a mistake - highest previously was around 80 - so it has made my entire graph history so small it's basically useless. It looks like a series of mole hills next to Everest.

I'd like to be able to clear it out so my history graph will be useful at a glance again in the future.

Hi Alex,

You can clear all active errors (under app settings). However, in your case, you'd be best just to delete the big error group to retain all the existing data in the other groups.

I hope that helps,

I'd still like an option to clear all errors every time I deploy. Everything else in my build pipe is scripted and I'd really like this to be as well. I've looked in the API docs, but can't find anything to clear on deploy. On this page in the docs, https://raygun.com/docs/deployments/deployments-api, it shows a way to view errors that have occurred since the last deployment, but I can't find that in the UI. Help!

I posted about this about 3 years ago. Alex emailed me, but I don't have the email any more.
