Unable to merge errors

I tried to merge multiple errors into a single group and receive a red error message. (see pic)

Hi Adam,

Had you been merging errors already? I have a hunch that it's a caching issue.

As Raygun does store every error instance (not just a roll up), it can take a significant time to merge larger groups. What we do is process this behind the scenes and apply a quick cache of the merge inside the app so that you can keep working as though the merge is completed.

The downside of this approach is that if you then want to do additional merges that touch that group, it will fail i the meantime. I suspect that's what's happening here.

Could you try doing a merge again now? I suspect it will work now. I'll have one of the team put an item on the backlog to investigate making it more friendly :-)

It seems like the merge actually worked - it just took time until it was shown... thanks anyways :-)
