Restricted users.

Every now and then we get a message from a customer saying he or she got an email from raygun. Which is ok, because we've added them to our team. But it's not ok when the email is about a project for a different client. Whoops, somebody accidentally added an Application to the Users team...
We either need restricted users (like github, slack etc have), or we need to prevent Applications to be added to the Users Team. The latter would work well for us, but restricted users would be more powerful.

Hi,
We're looking into this capability at present. The plan will be that on the create app flow, you'll have a drop down selector to choose the team that the app would be assigned (rather than to the 'users' team by default). This option would only show for folks that have more than the 'Owners' and 'Users' team, to keep it simple.
Would that resolve the issue in future? Appreciate your thoughts since you'd be dealing with the process we build :-)
Thanks,

That would help it somewhat, I would like to have the option to exclude Users from that dropdown though. Could be just a checkbox in the Plan settings on the Teams tab. Or in the Users Team. Just excluding it from the list of Teams to add the application for would be all that's needed to prevent mistakes. It could still be possible to add it to the Users team later, that's no problem.
It's just that forgetting to switch the Team after creation is something that happens from time to time.

Ah, gotcha - thanks for the extra detail.
Yes, having an option to not show the 'Users' team is a good idea. We should also probably present that team as 'All Users' to make it more clear that it's everyone associated with the plan.
Appreciate the feedback. I've passed this thread to our Director of Product, as we're about to do a round of work on our create app flow so this will feed in nicely.
Thanks!
