Purge Errors

We have a large number of errors that aren't relevant anymore and would like to delete them from our application. Is there a way to purge these errors? Is our only option to create a new application and delete the one we are currently using? This isn't optimal because we would like to keep errors that were from a date forward.
Thanks.

Hi Matt,
This isn't possible at present but we are looking at supporting this in time. The reason it's not in there already is because of how our data stores work. Some of our larger customers send so much data that a purge or delete operation could take a significant period of time. You could create a new app but then all of the status information would be lost also (e.g. if you marked an error as permanently ignored, comments, connections to plugins, etc).
If it's a really big problem for you, we could do this manually for you for now.
Let me know if it's causing you significant problems.
Kind regards,

John-Daniel --
Thank you for your reply.
The one application we have in Raygun runs extremely slow and occasionally the exceptions in the Error Report will never load. Our other applications seem to work just fine, and the only thing we can think of is the sheer number of errors in that particular application. Do you think that could be case?
Please let me know what information you need to manually delete the errors. At the very least it will clean up a lot of the "noise" we are currently seeing.
Best,
Matt

Hi Matt,
Yes the difference in speed when loading the dashboard between that app and the other apps is to do with the number of groups you have for that application. We can manually purge the app which will involve marking it as deleted and replacing it with a new application with the same API keys so that you dont have to make any configuration changes.
Let me know if you would like us to go ahead with this for you.

Jeremy,
We've got about 4,200 errors that I'd like to mark as resolved. Any way to make that happen?
Thanks, Charlie

Hi Charlie,
Yes we can do this provided there is a way of programatically selecting the set of errors involved (e.g. all active errors). Can you email me at jeremy at mindscape.co.nz with the details about the errors in question and I can look to help you with this.
