Unknown Error returned

Since upgrading to the latest package version, we are occasionally seeing this error returned from crash reporting:
Message: Unknown error
It doesn't present as an exception, no exception data is attached. What does this mean? everywhere in the app that uses Raygun supports and passes exception data.
How to best troubleshoot this? Again this didn't happen in the same app using the 9.x build which we had before.

I would need a bit more information to assist you with the issue.
Can you let us know the Application name wherein you are seeing these errors?

It has occurred in two of our applications: "Mail Monitor Service" and "Virs Worker" - both of which are windows services.
