Azure Devops Integration | Work Items and Code Not in the Same Project

When setting up the integration for DevOps it asks for the project, then asks for the repository. It only lists repositories under the selected project. Our dev ops has multiple teams and separate projects for them. And it works out where one Project has all of our work items, and then we have a separate projects that house our repositories for each application. It would be nice if we could select a project for work item linking, but a separate one for repository linking.
