Reoccurred errors not active

In Error Reporting: I accidentally hit "Resolved" on a particular error. Then I hit "Resolve in version..." and indicated the version. In a later version, the error came up again (same function, different line, but same C# exception name). It was automatically marked as resolved. I only saw it because I got an email about the error.

So my question is: shouldn't the error have come up again since it was a later version number? 1.0.0.25 (newer error) vs 1.0.0.16 (older error version). Or did the initial "Resolve" somehow put it in a state where it was forever resolved?

Thanks

Hi Ben,

Thank you for your patience.

We've recently put out a fix so that the 'Resolve in Version' feature should reactivate error groups when an error instance occurs within a later version of the defined version.

Could you please check this out and let us know how you get on?

Kind Regards,

Sumitra
