User Search

Not sure this is necessarily a bug but it something I ran into just recently. It appears that user search is case-sensitive. Partial search is ok but if the name/email, etc. are not exactly as it is stored then the user will not appear in your search results.

Example 1: A username is 'fujiiface' and you search for 'Fujiiface'; the username will not be found.

Example 2: A username is 'fujiiFace' and you search for 'face'; the username will not be found.

Hi,

Do you mean the search box in the "Users" section (side bar) or the search box in Raygun Crash Reporting (top of the crash reporting dashboard)?

Happy to look into this.

Thanks!

Hi John,

Specifically I am talking about the Users section in the side bar. But, now that you bring it up, testing the Crash Reporting search did not provide a result for partial email/user search when testing.

Example: Search Crash Reporting for error that John Trask created (jtrask@raygun.com)

  1. Search "trask" did not produce a result
  2. Search "jtrask" did produce a result

This search appears to be case-insensitive.
