DSYM is too big

I have a problem uploading my DSYM file:

File is too big (111.18MiB). Max filesize: 65MiB.

It is a large project and the DSYM file is really big. Can I have an alternative way to upload this SDYM file?

Thanks,

Hi JoH,

Is 111.18MiB the size of the raw dSYM, or is that after it has been compressed?

If it is the size of the uncompressed dSYM, please zip the dSYM first before uploading it to the dSYM center in your Raygun account. On that note, we would recommend using the Raygun Sidekick Mac application which can detect, zip and upload the appropriate dSYM files for you when you perform an XCode Archive. You can also give it existing dSYMs (such as the one your wanting to upload now) and it will zip and upload it. More information here: https://raygun.io/docs/workflow?document=raygun-sidekick

If that is the size of the compressed dSYM, if you don't mind, please share the dSYM with us (perhaps via DropBox) and we'll have a look at increasing the limits.

Hope to hear from you soon.

To anyone who sees this forum thread, the dSYM upload limit has been increased to 130Mb zipped.
