Query your data with the Raygun Real User Monitoring API

| 2 min. (330 words)

Note: This API feature is only available to Enterprise customers

We are pleased to announce the release of the Raygun Real User Monitoring API to query user session data. With this API, Enterprise customers can now search for sessions and drill into detailed session and user data. This allows you to augment other systems with detailed performance and user experience data from Real User Monitoring.

This update allows you to give your customers the best user experience possible by understanding their behavior more.

For example, if your company has a CRM system or customer database, you can pull in performance statistics from Raygun RUM to get a better understanding of how customers are experiencing your website. Retrieve user sessions as you need them so you can better understand what your customers are looking for on your website and if they are actually finding it. Your support team will love you for making their job easier!

The Raygun Real User Monitoring API endpoints

The Raygun Real User Monitoring API currently provides the following endpoints:

  • Authenticate Authenticate against the API to retrieve an access token. This token is used for requests to all other endpoints.

  • Sessions Search for sessions given a time period and other attributes such as the user or country they are located. Page through summary session data to find the sessions of interest.

  • Session Retrieve detailed information on a single session, including the pages viewed with timings and any data about crashes encountered in the session.

This is just the start. Over time we will be expanding the API to include more data endpoints for you to query.
