To view the Pulse settings, click on the ‘Settings’ menu option in the sidebar navigation, under ‘Pulse’, or click on the cog icon on the right of the date picker on any of the Pulse tabs.
Default display settings
Under the Default display settings, use Module defaults options and Page URL display options to show what you want to see every time you access Pulse. These display settings are per user, meaning you can customize them without impacting your teammates.
Hide 10% slowest: Checking this option might make it easier to view the average and fastest data, by removing the outliers.
Logarithmic scale: If the data has a large range of average load times with outliers, viewing the data with this turned on might make graphs with this feature easier to read.
Include anonymous users: Check this option if you want to automatically include anonymous users in the tables that have this feature.
Group browser: Check this option if you want browsers to automatically be grouped together. For example, all Chrome versions will be grouped under Chrome in descending order based on the most popular version number.
Group operating systems: Check this option if you want operating systems be grouped together. For example, all Windows operating systems will be grouped under Windows in descending order based on the most popular version number.
Page URL display
In the Page URL display, you can choose three options:
- Path - page URLs will be displayed as '/folder/index.html'
- Protocol + Domain - page URLs will be displayed as 'https://example.com/'
- Protocol + Domain + Path - page URLs will be displayed as 'https://example.com/folder/index.html'
The suggested setting is Path unless you have a multi-domain configuration. This setting will take effect where page URLs are displayed.
