Real User Monitoring for mobile

The Users tab gives you statistics about how many users have been using your application, as well as a list of new users.

User statistics

Here you get some useful high level user counts across the current time range.

  • Users is the total number of unique users that have used your app within the current time range.
  • New users is the number of new users that have used your app within the current time range. A user is new if they used your application for the first time within the current time range.
  • Returning users is the number of returning uses that have used your application within the current time range. This is the opposite of new users.
  • Crash Free Users Crash Reporting and Real User Monitoring work together to surface the percentage of all users who have experienced software errors over the time range. You will need to enable Raygun Crash Reporting to see the percentage of crash free users, which enables you to set a benchmark around this percentage and aim to improve, understand which errors affect user experience, right down to the stack trace, and give priority to the software errors affecting your User Satisfaction score.

User traffic chart

This chart gives a breakdown of the number of new and returning users that used your application each day. A user is new if they used your application for the first time on that day. If a new user continues to user your application on later days, then they will be counted as a returning user on those days.

The 'Include anonymous users' option in the top right corner of this chart allows you to toggle the inclusion of anonymous users in the displayed data.

  • Daily active users is the average number of unique users using your application per day in the current time range.
  • Monthly active users is the number of unique users that used your application in the last month of the current time range.

This table lists all the new users within the current time range. This table is ordered so that the users who used you application most recently is listed first.

The 'Include anonymous users' option in the top right corner of this table allows you to toggle the inclusion of anonymous users in the displayed data.
